Once you’ve had a couple of sessions and are keen to take the next step, simply fill in the Join Now form. After everything is confirmed, you’ll be all set to go and receive your two free caps.

How much does it cost?

For further information about our fees and competitive annual membership please visit our fees page.

What should I expect for the first session?

George and Hannah will place you in a squad they feel best suits your current ability. During your free trial period, they’ll be assessing your technique, fitness, and overall fit within the group, and will then recommend the squad that’s right for you.

For new swimmers, squad training is a step up from standard lessons. However, George and Hannah are very supportive and understand that transitioning into squads can feel like a big change — they’ll make sure every swimmer feels comfortable, included, and confident from the start.

In terms of what to bring, you’ll need a swim cap and goggles. If fins are required for a session, Kings Swim School has these on hand and available to borrow if needed.

What do I need for training at Vikings?

For your trial, you’ll just need your goggles and a cap. If fins or a pull buoy are used in the session, these can be borrowed from Kings Swim School.

Once you join you can find out more about the gear requirements on uniforms and gear kits here.
